"So, did the car hit you or go over you?  What kind of injuries did you sustain?  You can put it in a different thread"

Both.  Came from behind and sucked my feet in under it, smashing me forward so hard into the tar that my elbow burst and my forearms ended up blue and yellow.

Then, the wheels started eating my leg, leaving my calf raw.

Then the car stopped with a wheel squashing my foot.  Then with people screaming it reversed again over my foot to get off me.

Then the car guards fought with the driver.  Then the car guards somehow happend to get an ambulance there and they took my torn shoe off.

Then the car guard got the details of the driver and gave it to me because I was completely gone by then into a world of not knowing what to do the next moment.

Then the swelling started and the inability to walk set in.

Then it was doctors and X-rays and doctor again and pain pills and bills to be settled.

Then there was making the driver pay the bills.  She still needs to pay the other half next month.

Currently my foot is still in pain.

And now I have to leave for an urgent appointment.  Continue later if you wish.  Later!

Shall do!  I put a bandaid on it and now time must heal all wounds.

As with these things, everybody who hears of it tells me their own stories of friends and family who got run over by cars.  It's like I'm in a niche crowd now.

Their stories tell of broken bones and much worse under the same conditions.  And of course then came the new york times square thingy and the london westminster bridge thing.

Now everywhere I look, I see car wheels going just inches past humans, in parking lots and in streets and I'm like YIKES!!!!   Was this always like this??

Anyway, probably one of the lesser fun things of the year.

But the year's good so far.

"Get better soon Superdude!"

Your order shall be executed.

One of the ironies is the guy building the stairs to the mezzanine of my studio asked if he shouldn't also add a small lift to take myself and heavy goods up and down in style.  He was on a roll and wanted to build all kinds of additional things.

I said no, stairs is good.  It will keep me fit and a lift would take up some of the storage space.

Now, it's with discomfort and pain that I slowly struggle up and down the stairs all the time at tortoisian speed.

I guess the lesson is, if someone wants to raise you up, consider it more carefully.

You can still add a lift anytime you want.

The logistics make that impossible at this time.

Anyway, new subject:

What is you guys' verdict on sushi?

I've never tried sushi but it's popular I know. I hear there are many different varieties. You like sushi Marius?

Never did for years.  Thought it's a waste of money to pay for a meal and get three bites of raw fish and rice.

But then finally recently, I discovered what it's all about.  2017 is bringing all such new good things into my life.

And yes, so many varieties!  And watching a good sushi chef make it is the before-dinner show.

Slices such careful thin slices and portions so quickly and smoothly and presses here and fries there and carefully takes 5 little caviars from a bottle and so on and on.

Currenly my favorite is Prawn Avalanche:

The red things on top is caviar.

And those fried thingies are beyond delicious.

The prawn pieces are inside the rice balls.

And of course when eating sushi, one cannot go without fried battered prawns:

I never ate prawns either.  Yucky bugs that smell like rotting fish.

But these fried battered prawns are da bomb baby!!!

Half price sushi specials make it worth the money too.  Full price, no.  Half price, yes.

SUSHI!!!

I still have so many varieties to try.  It's fun to have a craze.  I am having a sushi craze.

Go get a sushi craze too and tell me what varieties I can try next that will be worth the experience.

I eat sushi now for pudding after my meal at restaurants.

Sushi.  Where has it been all my life?

Sushi.

So what's a meal like that cost in S. Africa? I just checked some prices here in Vegas on the net and it's all over the place. 15..18..22..26 dollars, etc.  That stuff is expensive. And does it fill you up? It looks pretty skimpy.

Yes, that Prawn Avalanche is one of the more expensive ones.

It costs R52 which is US$ 4 according to the exchange rate, but I think R52 is a lot more to me than $4  is to you.

But on Tuesdays it's half price so $2 for that isn't too terrible.

But the prices also vary.  I can buy this sandwhich thingy for R27 ($ 2.09):

Or just over $1 on halfprice special.

Does it fill you up?

Depends on your eating habits.  If you're this guy, then no:

Otherwise, it's a good cure for feeling peckish.

It's good for a very light meal or for a dessert.  Yes, they also come in pudding:

But if I eat sweet things I get sick.

And there's sushi pizza:

And that's the story of sushi.  Hope it was as fascinating to everybody as it is to me to explore at the moment.

Nobody else been eating it then?

The green thing is a soft pasty substance you can use to add the taste of burning like hell.

The pink thingies is ginger, to add the taste of ginger.

Also, you are provided with soy sauce to add a salty taste.

I never add any of it.

Jamesy, when do we get to see your "personal video"?

Too bad you won't do the same... Sorry dude but it doesn't matter that we've known each other for 10 years on the internet.  I doubt a lot of what you say..  Show us who you are..... As for me, I don't have much to show but I'll try to make it entertaining...

Oh Jamesy, whatever is it that was just too fantastic for you to believe?  I can't recall anything.

You must be a really distrusting person.  Shame on you.  I never gave you any reason to think of me as nothing but lying to your shitface.

But ok, I'll try to compose myself and look good on camera, fat and in pain as I am.  Let me see your video for reference of what exactly this thing is you want us all to make.

Well, not all.  It will just be you and me again I'm sure.

But so be it then.

Oh, sorry.  Posted in the society video thread already.

Guess it's sort of more about the society video subject.

Ah I was just messing with ya when I said all that stuff. You know, joking around. You know all about joking around right? Like how you emailed me those couple times and said you got spam from my dead Grandma saying she wanted to suck your dick.

"Like how you emailed me those couple times and said you got spam from my dead Grandma saying she wanted to suck your dick. "

I did get granny porn spam emails from you and more, so I seriously warned you about it, but you didn't seem bothered to do anything about it, like change your password or something, since you said someone else hacked into your account and uses it to send spam.

In the end I had to block your email address to make the disgusting crap stop flooding my inbox.

So that's my fault now?  Was I supposed to thank you instead for all the virus infected garbage?

You're mean :(

"

Whatever makes you happy, mr. sensitive.  It seems you'd much rather just have the people here who just say everything you want to hear and shares your exact same viewpoints word for word.

Baby.  I'm tired of you soiling your diapers and never telling me what you have a problem with.
