I think it's time I upgraded my editing computer.  But so many options to choose from!

This advertisement caught my attention.  So many features, all for under $6,000!

I'm putting this one in the consideration pile.  Seems I get a free TV with it!  And the printer is included.  Now that's value!

That was a dream machine back then!
I did my first animated short on a computer that didn't have a hard drive (only an external cassette reader), and the system had 4k of memory...!

Those were the days.

Well if you like things that use external cassettes, you might like this Kodak digital camera, seeing as you got a thing in general for Kodak retro junk ;o) :

Look at the viewfinder.  Seems it can double as a straw in a restaurant, right after photographing your food for your blog.

Haha!!
That's sure crap camera... It's also digital, therefore limited in capacity, limited in storage space, limited in resolution. Today's digital cameras have more capacity, but they're still limited in every aspect! Older technologies didn't have all these boundaries.

Oh yes, you did say you&apo;re anti-digital.

Well, they delivered my new computer today.  We had to take off a few doors and break down a wall, two of the twenty men didn&apo;t survive the ordeal and another is in the hospital after being snapped over the head by a cable, but it&apo;s here.  Here&apo;s a pic:

I'm not really against digital. I am against technologies that put its users in a jar, and monetize on them. Basically computer manufacturers locked you in a small room, and every now and then they offer you a larger room for a small price. As a user, you always want more space. And manufacturers always make money on your back.

But that's OK though, computers are a business, and they need cows to milk so they can grow!  :-)
