KevBot is on his world travels, learning not only about the wonders and mysteries of the world, but also of himself.

Then one day Majoorbot and him get trapped in a snowstorm.  To make matters worse, KevBot falls down a hole in the snow and lands up trapped in an underground ice cave deep inside the earth.

WATCH THIS MOVIE NOW!  It's movielicious.

Oh, and thanks to James Rogers who did the shot zooming in on the map into Jerusalem.

It may look like a simple shot, but this was done in the days before I had any really high definition equipment.

Whereas today one would just take a really high definition photograph of the map and zoom it in digitally, in the pre-HD time this was done by giving James, a graphic artist of sorts, four different photographs taken at four different distances from the map.

James then somehow blended them seamlessly into each other, matching lens distortion to a point where it's not visible and the four different photographs blend seamlessly to form one continuous zooming shot starting from afar and going in close.

Brilliant eh?  Yeah.

How many countries have you been to Marius? Do you have a favorite one?

That's a good question right there, monsieur!  I've never counted them.  But not as many as I wanted to, for obvious reasons.

Maybe Namibia or New Zealand are favorites, but it's tough to say because every country has its own atmosphere that makes it fun while it's new and it depends on what you experience while you're there.

How about you Monsieur?  Do you enjoy traveling the world much?

I've been to Canada twice. I love Canada!

I've been to Mexico once in the sixties when our family lived in southern California at the time. My Old Man wanted to see if Tijuana was as bad a place as it was shown on television at the time. That was my Pop. It was one of the greatest trips I've ever had. People and activities everywhere. Balloons and welcome banners all over the place. Musta been some kind of holiday.

If I had the dough, I would love to see Australia and New Zealand and also visit you someday in S. Africa. It looks like a very cool place.

I envy you Marius. Traveling all over the planet just like Jamesy..I mean James Bond only without a gun.

Canada do you say?  What does one do in Canada that's appealing?

New Zealand's South Island is what I travelled.  Lovely and beautiful.  I can recommend it for its beauty.

One of the things you must do in New Zealand is to go to the Frans Josef Glacier.  Might require some fitness and firm feet, but do request that you go on the longer tour for younger and fitter people.  It's the only one that also goes into the ice cavey places as well as walk on top of the glacier, for a nice workout.

In fact, you might recognise that's where I shot some of the underground ice cave shots in this EENDAG movie, as well as all the composite elements for the shots not filmed there, if you look at these even nicer photographs taken by other people:

Come to think of it, Kevbot traveling on the tram and then walking away from the tram towards what is a cathedral in the background was also shot in New Zealand.

On a sidenote, the cathedral was destroyed later by earthquakes.

Awww, you make me wanna revisit all these places.  *sniff*.  Fun times.  Truly.

Traveling isn't really my thing but I have been around the world; Germany, Korea, UAE, Cayman Islands, Philippines, Panama, Mexico, Japan, Belize, Honduras and a brief stop off in Italy....... I loved the Philippines and Korea the most!
