Western Australian actor and director, Ben Young has been honing his craft of the past decade or so, with short indie films, music videos TVCs and finally stepped into the deep pool with his debut feature, "Hounds Of Love".

Some three decades past, a husband and wife serial killer team, David and Catherine Birnie predated upon Western Australian women until finally put away for life. I understand that Ben's film is a fiction but the Birnie murders spree was apparently the dynamic template of his creation.

The film was well received in Cannes and as a result, Ben scored a directorial appointment to helm a feature which wrapped in Europe earlier this year.

Ben has advised that the film will be screened in limited exhibition in the US. Here is a website with some details.
