sup weirdos!  What are you people doing?

Any of you ever heard of Skechers?  It's a make of shoe.  Click here to see what I'm talking about.

For many years I've seen them in shops.  I thought it's just overpriced garbage.

But then, last week, I bought a pair because I needed new, comfy running shoes.

So I bought this beautiful pair of thingies.  Actually I thought the colors are a bit weirdo-like.  But it's all they had in my size.

Anyway this is the first time I tried Skechers for running.  Until now I only believed in Asics or Nikes for this purpose.

The first time I ran in these Skechers they felt hot.  But from the second time, they felt like the most comfortable running shoes I've had so far.  Now I love them as running shoes.

We'll see how long they last, as well as my like for them.

Then today, I bought something for walking.   Some gray leatherlike Gowalk 3 Skechers with those round thingies on the soles.

I love walking in them.  Feels like I'm walking on something.  Something like those soft bouncy rubber soles with the round pillar thingies underneath.  Feels like I'm on a slight jumping castle when I'm walking.  I could love this.

In conclusion, never again shall my tootsies be in uncomfortable shoes.  I have found something nice and comfy.  Yay.

So am I the only one going through a Skechers phaze?  Who's got them?

I'm so happy for you dude! Actually I have a couple of pairs of them, but I'm not a big fan. They're too squishy for me.

That's not squishyness m8.  That's cushioning to softify the wear on your feet.

I can see you've never had to walk from morning to evening.  Then you'd appreciate the "squishy" more than blisters and burning rawness.

But yeah I do sometimes wonder if I didn't like those translucid air cushioning technologies more than just plain squishying softness around one's feet.  I liked when I ran a big step and went flying extra high and far.  Like a moon walker.

Whatever was God thinking when he made man with just skin on his feet?  How was that ever going to be sufficient equipment to step on sticks and stones and thorns and sunbaked earth??  It boggles me.  Seriously.  What was the big idea?

And now back to daydreaming.

I'm wearing some Hoka One shoes, right now.  Never tried Skechers, though I've glanced at them.  I'm sure they are fine for making movies in.

Making movies did you say?  I thought I was the only one on here who still does anything of the like.  Are you working on something there Monsieur?

Ok wow, Hoka One shoes are quite aesthetic too.  I thought you were just making it up but nope, I found there really are such shoes.  Love these:  (Clickable pics if you wanna see specs)

Quite purdey.  Thanks for introducing them to me.  Never heard of such a make.  Looks like they wouldn't be displeasing to run in.  You do some running do you?

Cool dude!  As long as they are fine for making movies in.  As they say, if the shoe fits...

Congratulations, gentlemen!  We now all own the same brand shoes.  We should all belong to some kind of club.  You truly feel like my brothers now... *sniff*...

I belong!!

And now back to moviemaking.

I've been wearing the same pair of Sketchers for over 2 years. I usually take them off before taking a shower though....

For me, it's either Sketchers or Kung fu slippers or barefoot.  That's it.

"For me, it's either Sketchers or Kung fu slippers or barefoot.  That's it"

When using the term "either, or", there can only be two choices.  Not more.

I just want to give my Sketchers another plumpie!  They do make for good running shoes. The "GoRun"s that I have that is.

For the first time since being run over by a car, I can get up to a running speed of 17km/h (10.6 miles per hour) again!  Yay!

I'm aiming to work up to whatever the top speed on the treadmill is.

I'm afraid I no longer idealise Skechers.  The running shoes are okay, but their casual walking shoes are terrible.  I have one good pair and one pair that makes my feet cramp up.  I cannot walk in them.

So I am trying a new brand:  Crocs.  (Not the repugnant rubber things.  Something like the below pic, except not so ugly and rough around the edges.  A neat shoe.)

So far I like them.  A pair of Crocs general walking shoes.  They hurt my hands and almost cut them when I put the shoes on, because the shoe skin is so thin yet rough.

But once they're on my feet, they're comfortable.  The soles start out by massaging your feet with little cooch teeth all over them, and then your feet get used to it and you no longer feel the massaging.

Hopefully now I have a comfortable general walking shoe for my daily comings and goings.

Oh, seems you discover something new every day.  I just found out it's a loose, thick inner sole inside it that is made of that rubbery stuff like the sandals.

So they just placed like the bottom of the sandal inside a basic shoe.  Fascinating!
