Writer/Director Paul D. Hart spent many of his formative years living in several places around the country. Being exposed to so many different cultural environments has directly influenced Hart's eclectic film making style. Hart began his education at Carson-Newman College as a psychology major and it was there that he became intrigued in theater and how psychology related to characters. Hart began writing screenplays in 1999 and attended The Los Angeles Film School graduating with honors attaining an editing major and directing minor. Hart's first film, entitled 86 Manners, is a comedy in which Hart both wrote and directed. As a professional, Hart works as a Gaffer and Camera Operator in feature films and scripted television. His screenplays have been read and pitched in meetings with various producers including Roberto Orci (writer/producer of The Island, MI3, and Transformers) in his offices at Dreamworks Amblin. Hart's directing focus is being cultivated with several projects both on the stage and in film. HIDE SEE FULL COMMENT
